HMECC Ukraine Officially Launched in Kyiv
Grand Opening: New Healthcare Bridge Between China and Ukraine
We are proud to announce the official launch of the HMECC Representative Office in Ukraine, marking a new chapter in international medical cooperation between China and Eastern Europe.
The initiative was formalized following strategic discussions in July 2025 between Mr. Qingzhao Yang, President of the Health and Medical Exchange Cooperation Committee (HMECC), and Mr. Ivan Khomych and Mr. Alexandru Curiliuc, appointed as co-heads of the Ukrainian office.
Mission of the Office
The representative office of HMECC in Kyiv is designed to:
- Promote high-quality Chinese medical technologies and equipment in Ukraine;
- Assist Chinese companies in navigating certification, localization, and partnerships;
- Serve as a regional hub for entry into Eastern European markets.
Through this official presence, HMECC Ukraine will actively support B2B matchmaking, pilot programs, delegation visits, and scientific collaboration.

First Activities Underway
The office has already begun preparation for:
- Upcoming delegation of Chinese manufacturers in October 2025;
- Certification of Yuwell and Wanhai products with Ukrainian partners;
- Cooperation with the Ministry of Health and local medical institutions.
