Strategic Meeting with HMECC President Held in China

A landmark meeting took place this week between the President of the Health and Medical Exchange Cooperation Committee (HMECC), Mr. Yang, and the leadership of the newly established Ukrainian office of HMECC.
During the discussion, both sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to deepening cooperation between China and Ukraine in the medical and health sector. Mr. Yang emphasized the importance of Ukraine as a key strategic hub for expanding access to Eastern European healthcare markets.
The meeting focused on finalizing a 90-day launch roadmap for HMECC Ukraine, with clear milestones for:
Hosting the first China–Ukraine Medical Cooperation Forum in Kyiv;
Launching pilot deliveries of medical devices and supplies from Chinese manufacturers;
Building direct partnerships with Ukrainian ministries, hospitals, and private clinics.
In addition, President Yang gave his full endorsement for establishing a multilingual online platform (hmecc.org.ua) that will act as a showcase for Chinese medical technologies and a gateway for cooperation.
The Ukrainian delegation expressed deep gratitude for the support and trust shown by the HMECC leadership and confirmed their readiness to begin implementation immediately.
This strategic alignment marks a powerful step forward in strengthening cross-border health collaboration and promoting Chinese medical excellence across the region.
